At the first championship show of 2010, Kia-Ora (Flamuna Fratelli) won the junior bitch class. I had to put her in the older class as Salome was in puppy class. She then went on to win Best Puppy Bitch in excellent competition and finally took Best Puppy In Breed. Her Dad, Specs won his 12th CC.Thankyou to the well-respected judge, breed specialist, Mary Deats.

We are delighted that all of Luna's puppies have done so well in the ring and the whole litter have now qualified for Crufts !! Franz & Salome did it in style by winning their classes and Penny topped off the year with Best Puppy in Breed at LKA. Good luck for March 2010 Salome, Franz, Penny & Kia-Ora!

At Blackpool, Chewy (Nixtev Fyreblade) was awarded 1st in Open dog class then went on to win the DCC with Best Of Breed! There was a long wait for the Utility Group where Doug Kitchener made a shortlist of 8 dogs which included the German Spitz Mittel - our Chewby!  I am so proud of my special boy. He's taken a long time to fully mature but it's been worth it!!!

The puppies were taken to have their eyes examined by Stuart Ellis BVSc CertVOphthal MRCVS today under the BVA/ISDS/KC health scheme. I'm pleased to report he found no abnormalities & they were all clear! He even commented on how good & clear their eyes were which enabled him to get a good view of the whole retina :o)

Today our beautiful Luna gave birth to 4 healthy puppies! 1 black dog, 1 brown bitch, 1 cream bitch & 1 cream/gold bitch. We are very proud and happy. Thanks to Daddy Specs :o)) More photos in the gallery here

Luna was flying the flag on her own for Flamuna at Crufts this year. She was placed 2nd in Limit bitch class. It will be her last show for quite a while as she will hopefully be on maternity leave from April ;o) Then we'll have the long wait for her coat to grow back!

Saturday was a very long but lovely day.

Luna won her class (Limit Bitch) at Manchester CH Show and we were delighted to watch her future hubby, Specs, win his 11th CC.

Later that night, everyone at Flamuna welcomed the new addition to our family. After a very difficult decision we brought home the blue bitch puppy, Wyndlee Baby Blue.

She has settled in well and made herself right at home!

Chewy became a father for the second time last night when CH. Danack's Winny The Witch gave birth to her puppies!

Two black dogs, one black bitch & one blue bitch born at the Wyndlee home. Mum and pups all doing well.

At Leeds, in scorching sunshine, Chewby showed his heart out to win Best Dog from an entry better than some shows with CCs! Luna wilted in the heat but was still awarded 2nd in Limit & little Libby enjoyed a training day out which went very well :o)

Following on from her RCC at SKC Luna has continued to do well. At Blackpool (where, thankfully, we were on the Friday before the winds) she won the Limit bitch class.

Then on a beautiful sunny day at East of England she was again awarded 1st place in Limit. We are very proud of her :o)
